"Kuching in pictures 1841-1991" covers the period from the reiggn og James Brooke, 1st Rajah (1841-1868) , and Charles Brooke the 2nd Rajah of Sarawak (1868-1917) , Charles Vyner Brooke (1918-1941) , the Japanese Occupation (1941-1945), the British Colonial Era (1946-1963) and after independence .
The book was compiled by Mr Ho Ah Chon and published in 1992 with preface written by Tan Sri Datuk Ong Kee Hui.
